Therapy, family, disability and aged care support in Wallan and Mitchell Shire - an area where service choice is genuinely limited and metropolitan services often stop short.
Wallan sits just past the metropolitan boundary in Mitchell Shire, and that boundary causes real problems for families. Plenty of Melbourne services stop at Craigieburn; plenty of regional services start further north. Wallan falls between them, and child therapy is one of the first things to disappear in that gap.
We deliberately service it. Wallan sits on our regular run between the northern suburbs and Seymour, which is what makes a consistent schedule possible rather than occasional visits — and consistency is the whole basis of therapeutic work with children.
This is a service area, not an office. We are a mobile service. Sessions and supports are delivered in agreed therapeutic spaces, the family home, schools and community venues — we do not run a public drop-in office here.
Wallan has a station on the Seymour line, but specialist and therapeutic appointments usually mean travelling to Epping, Craigieburn or the city. Without a driver in the household that becomes a genuine barrier to care. Transport is one of the supports we are asked for most in Wallan, and it is often the one that makes everything else possible.

Yes. Wallan is on our scheduled route between Melbourne’s north and Seymour, which is what makes a consistent roster possible rather than ad hoc visits.
Any travel component is set out in your service agreement before anything starts. Where NDIS funding applies, travel is charged in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements.
Yes. Outside the metro area households often need both, and covering therapy for a child and aged care support for a grandparent in one visit is genuinely useful.
No. We are an NDIS service provider but we are not an NDIS registered provider, and we do not hold registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. NDIS-funded supports are provided where the participant’s plan and funding arrangements allow — generally for self-managed and plan-managed participants. Full detail is set out below.

Our NDIS registration status. Chitambo Multisupport Services is an NDIS service provider. We are not an NDIS registered provider and we do not hold registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
We provide NDIS-funded supports — including NDIS Support Coordination, Core Supports and Capacity Building Supports — where this is permitted by the participant’s plan, funding arrangements and the applicable NDIS requirements. In practice this generally means we can work with self-managed and plan-managed participants. Participants whose plans are NDIA-managed are required to use registered providers for those supports.

Counselling and play interventions lead our work here, alongside family, disability, aged care and community supports — all delivered by our own team rather than subcontracted out.
