Most older people we meet want the same thing: to stay in their own home, on their own terms, for as long as possible. Our aged care support is built around that — practical enough to keep the household running, warm enough that the visit is something to look forward to.
We support people receiving a funded package, people on the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, and people paying privately who simply want a hand.
Older adults living independently who need some support to keep doing so — and the families who worry about them. We also work with people transitioning home after a hospital admission, where the first few weeks matter most.
The Commonwealth’s Support at Home program replaces several older aged care programs. We have written a plain-English explainer of what it means for you.
The same worker wherever possible. Older clients should not have to re-explain themselves every fortnight.
Our workers are trained to flag the early signs — a missed meal, a new bruise, a change in mood — and to tell family promptly.
We support, we do not take over. If you can still do it, we will help you keep doing it.
Ageing brings grief, loss and major transitions with it, and those are rarely addressed by a cleaning roster. Our counselling and therapeutic services are available to older adults too, as is advocacy and practical support for navigating the aged care system.
No. We support package holders, CHSP clients and private-pay clients. If you are waiting for a package to be assigned, private support can bridge the gap.
We can point you to My Aged Care and explain the assessment process, and we can support you through it. We cannot complete the assessment on your behalf — that is done by an assessor.
Yes. Planned regular respite works best, but we will always try to help with short-notice situations.
Yes, in a home support capacity. Our workers are experienced with cognitive decline. For clinical dementia care we will refer you to a specialist service.
Yes. The Goulburn Region is core service area for us, where in-home aged care options are genuinely limited.
Most people we work with combine two or three of these. Mix and match whatever fits your plan.
