Read moreEveryday personal and household support that helps you live the way you want - personal care, meals, routines and the practical tasks that make a day work.
Assistance with Daily Life covers the ordinary, essential things — getting up, getting dressed, getting fed, keeping a household running. Done badly it feels institutional. Done properly it is barely noticeable, and it gives you back your day.
We deliver this support in your own home, on your schedule, with workers trained in personal care who treat your routine as yours. It is available as an NDIS-funded support and as a privately arranged service for people outside the scheme.
People who need hands-on or prompted support with the activities of daily living — because of physical disability, intellectual disability, acquired brain injury, degenerative conditions, psychosocial disability or a combination. For older adults, the same support is available through our aged care and older adult support.
Dignity is not optional. Personal care is intimate work. We match workers carefully, we respect gender preferences, and we never rush a routine to hit a schedule.
We write down how you like things done, in your words, before anyone starts.
You meet a worker before their first shift. Nobody unfamiliar turns up at your door.
Needs change. We check in regularly rather than waiting for your plan review.
Many people combine this with cleaning services, home and lifestyle support and community access so that one provider covers the whole week.
No. We are an NDIS service provider, not an NDIS registered provider. NDIS-funded supports are provided where the participant’s plan and funding arrangements allow — generally for self-managed and plan-managed participants. The service is also available privately.
Assistance with Daily Life sits in Core Supports and is one of the most commonly funded categories. The amount depends on your assessed needs.
Yes, always. Tell us your preference and we will honour it.
Yes — active overnight and sleepover shifts are both available, subject to your funding and our roster.
We tell you as early as we can and offer a replacement you have met where possible. We will never simply not turn up.
Most people we work with combine two or three of these. Mix and match whatever fits your plan.
