Our Services

Home & Lifestyle Support

Practical help to keep a household running and a life comfortable - household upkeep, meals, shopping, errands and the everyday tasks that quietly become too much.

Home And Lifestyle Support Including Cleaning Services

Households do not usually fall apart in one go. They slip — the washing gets away, the fridge stops being restocked, the appointments stop being made, and a home that was fine six months ago has quietly become a source of stress.

Home and lifestyle support is the practical service that stops that slide. It is deliberately broad, because what one household needs bears little resemblance to what the next one does.

What We Help With

  • General household upkeep, tidying, laundry and linen
  • Meal planning, shopping and meal preparation
  • Errands — chemist, post office, banking, appointments
  • Organising and decluttering, at your pace and with your say-so
  • Keeping the home safe and navigable, particularly around mobility or vision needs
  • Support to keep on top of routines, correspondence and household admin
  • Seasonal jobs and the tasks that never make it to the top of the list
  • Wellbeing check-ins and companionship alongside the practical work

Who This Is For

People living with disability or chronic illness. Older adults who want to stay in their own home. Families under sustained pressure — particularly single parents, kinship carers and families where a parent is unwell. People recovering after a hospital stay. And carers who are running two households at once and losing on both.

Funded or private, your choice. This support can be arranged privately with no funding at all, or delivered under an NDIS plan or an aged care package where those apply. We will tell you plainly which route makes sense for your situation before anything starts.

How We Work

Walk through it first

We visit, look at the actual rooms and the actual week, and agree what happens on each visit. No generic checklist.

Support, do not take over

If you can still do something, we help you keep doing it. Independence is easier to keep than to get back.

Same worker, every time

Consistency does most of the work in this service. You should not have to re-explain your home every fortnight.

Say something early

Our workers are trained to notice change — a missed meal, a new hazard, a shift in mood — and to raise it with you or your family promptly.

Related Services

Home and lifestyle support sits closely alongside cleaning services, assistance with daily life, aged care and older adult support and community transport. Most people we work with combine two or three.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need funding to use this service?

No. Home and lifestyle support can be arranged privately. It can also be delivered under an NDIS plan or aged care package where those apply.

What is the difference between this and cleaning?

Cleaning is a defined household task. Home and lifestyle support is broader — meals, shopping, errands, organisation and general upkeep, with cleaning often included in the mix.

Can this be short term?

Yes. Short-term intensive support after a hospital stay, a bereavement or a family crisis is one of the more common ways people use this service.

Do you work in regional areas?

Yes — across the Goulburn Region as well as Melbourne North.
