NDIS Support Coordination

Help to understand your plan, choose providers and get your funding actually working. Provided as a non-registered NDIS provider, subject to your plan and funding arrangements.

NDIS Support Coordination

Before anything else: Chitambo Multisupport Services is an NDIS service provider. We are not an NDIS registered provider and we do not hold registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. We provide NDIS-funded supports where the participant’s plan, funding arrangements and the applicable requirements allow — which generally means working with self-managed and plan-managed participants. The full detail is set out at the bottom of this page.

A plan with unspent funding is not a plan that worked. Support coordination is about turning the document into actual services — the right ones, in the right order, before the plan year runs out.

We are direct about this: our job is to build your capacity to manage your own supports, not to make you dependent on a coordinator forever.

What’s Included

  • Unpacking your plan in plain English — what each budget can and cannot be used for
  • Finding and comparing providers, and setting up service agreements
  • Coordinating multiple providers so supports do not overlap or clash
  • Monitoring your budget so funding is neither underspent nor exhausted early
  • Preparing evidence and reports ahead of your plan reassessment
  • Response when a support arrangement breaks down
  • Building your confidence to self-manage over time

Who This Is For

Participants with Support Coordination funded in their plan — often those with complex needs, multiple providers, or who are new to the NDIS and finding the system hard to navigate. Because we are a non-registered provider, this service generally suits self-managed and plan-managed participants.

We will tell you if another provider suits you better. Coordination only works if the advice is honest — including when the honest answer is that you need a registered provider, or a different service entirely.

What Makes Our Coordination Different

We answer the phone

Participants routinely tell us their previous coordinator was unreachable. That is the bar we clear first.

We track the budget in writing

You get a clear picture of what has been spent and what is left, not a vague reassurance.

We prepare for review early

Evidence gets gathered months ahead, not in the fortnight before your reassessment.

We know the regional picture

Provider availability in the Goulburn Region and Melbourne’s northern corridor is thinner than in the inner suburbs. Coordination that ignores that produces plans that cannot be delivered.

Beyond the Plan

Participants and families we coordinate for often need things the NDIS does not fund. Where that happens we can connect you with our counselling and therapeutic services, advocacy and practical support, or privately arranged home and community services.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you a registered NDIS provider?

No. We are an NDIS service provider but we are not an NDIS registered provider, and we do not hold registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. We provide NDIS-funded supports where a participant’s plan and funding arrangements permit it — in practice, generally for self-managed and plan-managed participants.

Can I use you if my plan is NDIA-managed?

Not for NDIS-funded supports. Participants with NDIA-managed funding are required to use registered providers for those supports. You are welcome to access our services privately, and we will tell you honestly if a registered provider is what you need.

What is the difference between support coordination and plan management?

Plan management handles the money — paying invoices and tracking claims. Support coordination handles the supports — finding providers, connecting services and building your capacity. They are separate budgets and you can have both.

How do I get support coordination funded?

It has to be included in your plan by the NDIA. If you think you need it, raise it at your planning meeting with evidence about why navigating services independently is difficult for you.

Can you coordinate providers other than yourselves?

Yes, and we frequently do. Coordination is provider-neutral by design.

What are the levels of support coordination?

There are three: Support Connection, Support Coordination, and Specialist Support Coordination for complex situations. Your plan will specify which is funded.
