Craigieburn is one of the fastest growing suburbs in Hume City, and demand for support here has outpaced the number of services that will actually travel out. That is felt most acutely by families looking for child counselling and play-based therapeutic intervention, where the usual answer is a waitlist or a referral to inner Melbourne.
We work in Craigieburn every week, with a team who live in the area rather than driving up from the inner suburbs. In practice that means shorter notice periods, more reliable scheduling, and people who know Craigieburn Central, the Aitken Boulevard medical precinct and the local community centres without needing directions.
This is a service area, not an office. We are a mobile service. Sessions and supports are delivered in agreed therapeutic spaces, the family home, schools and community venues — we do not run a public drop-in office here.
Craigieburn station sits on the Craigieburn line with a direct run to Southern Cross, and local bus routes connect the estates to Craigieburn Central. For people who cannot use public transport independently, our transport support fills the gap — and for those working toward independence, travel training on the Craigieburn line is one of the more achievable goals we set.
Roxburgh Park, Mickleham, Greenvale, Kalkallo and Somerton are all within our regular Craigieburn run.
For most services we can complete an intake conversation within a few days and begin within a fortnight, subject to matching. If another service has told you there is a waitlist, ask us for a realistic date.
Yes — children are our primary focus. We provide play interventions from around three years of age, and counselling through to adults.
All of it, including the newer estates north of Aitken Boulevard that some services treat as out of range.
No. We are an NDIS service provider but we are not an NDIS registered provider, and we do not hold registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. NDIS-funded supports are provided where the participant’s plan and funding arrangements allow — generally for self-managed and plan-managed participants. Full detail is set out below.

Our NDIS registration status. Chitambo Multisupport Services is an NDIS service provider. We are not an NDIS registered provider and we do not hold registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
We provide NDIS-funded supports — including NDIS Support Coordination, Core Supports and Capacity Building Supports — where this is permitted by the participant’s plan, funding arrangements and the applicable NDIS requirements. In practice this generally means we can work with self-managed and plan-managed participants. Participants whose plans are NDIA-managed are required to use registered providers for those supports.
