A multiservice organisation with a specialism in play interventions and counselling for children, families and adults — alongside disability, aged care, family and community support.

The Goulburn Region is core service area for us, not the outer edge of one. Lower and Upper Goulburn communities are used to being an afterthought — long waits, cancelled appointments, services that quietly withdraw — and that is felt most sharply in child mental health and therapeutic support.
Trauma-informed, play-based therapy for young children is one of the hardest things to access in regional Victoria. Families are routinely told the nearest option is in Melbourne. We built our practice specifically to change that.
A child in Seymour or Broadford who needs therapeutic support after family violence should not be waiting eight months, or travelling ninety minutes each way to inner Melbourne for a fifty-minute session that a five-year-old will not tolerate travelling for. Distance is not a peripheral issue in child therapy — it determines whether the work can happen at all.
Because we are already delivering support services across this corridor, we can offer therapeutic sessions here on a consistent schedule rather than as occasional visits.
This is a service area, not an office. We are a mobile service. Sessions and supports are delivered in agreed therapeutic spaces, the family home, schools and community venues — we do not run a public drop-in office here.

Specialist care often still means a trip to Melbourne, and a V/Line journey plus connecting transport is not realistic for many families. Our community transport provides door-to-door metropolitan transport, with a worker who can stay with you for the day where that is what you need.
Yes. It is a deliberate part of why we operate here, and it is scheduled rather than ad hoc — consistency matters more in therapeutic work than in almost anything else we do.

No. We are an NDIS service provider but not an NDIS registered provider. NDIS-funded supports are provided where the participant’s plan and funding arrangements allow — generally for self-managed and plan-managed participants. Full detail is below.
Any travel component is set out in your service agreement before anything starts. Where NDIS funding applies, travel is charged in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements. No surprises on the invoice.
Yes, and in regional areas that comes up often. Being able to cover therapy for a child and aged care support for a grandparent in one household is genuinely useful.
Our NDIS registration status. Chitambo Multisupport Services is an NDIS service provider. We are not an NDIS registered provider and we do not hold registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
We provide NDIS-funded supports — including NDIS Support Coordination, Core Supports and Capacity Building Supports — where this is permitted by the participant’s plan, funding arrangements and the applicable NDIS requirements. In practice this generally means we can work with self-managed and plan-managed participants. Participants whose plans are NDIA-managed are required to use registered providers for those supports.

Counselling and play interventions lead our work here, alongside family, disability, aged care and community supports — all delivered by our own team rather than subcontracted out.
