Read morePractical help to keep a household running and a life comfortable - household upkeep, meals, shopping, errands and the everyday tasks that quietly become too much.
Households do not usually fall apart in one go. They slip — the washing gets away, the fridge stops being restocked, the appointments stop being made, and a home that was fine six months ago has quietly become a source of stress.
Home and lifestyle support is the practical service that stops that slide. It is deliberately broad, because what one household needs bears little resemblance to what the next one does.
People living with disability or chronic illness. Older adults who want to stay in their own home. Families under sustained pressure — particularly single parents, kinship carers and families where a parent is unwell. People recovering after a hospital stay. And carers who are running two households at once and losing on both.
Funded or private, your choice. This support can be arranged privately with no funding at all, or delivered under an NDIS plan or an aged care package where those apply. We will tell you plainly which route makes sense for your situation before anything starts.
We visit, look at the actual rooms and the actual week, and agree what happens on each visit. No generic checklist.
If you can still do something, we help you keep doing it. Independence is easier to keep than to get back.
Consistency does most of the work in this service. You should not have to re-explain your home every fortnight.
Our workers are trained to notice change — a missed meal, a new hazard, a shift in mood — and to raise it with you or your family promptly.
Home and lifestyle support sits closely alongside cleaning services, assistance with daily life, aged care and older adult support and community transport. Most people we work with combine two or three.
