How We Practise

Trauma-informed

Nobody is pushed to disclose before they are ready. Pace is set by the client.

Culturally safe

We work with families from diverse cultural and language backgrounds, and we take cultural context seriously rather than treating it as background detail.

Practical alongside therapeutic

Counselling often sits next to real-world problems. We can also connect you to coordination and practical advocacy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can NDIS funding pay for counselling?

Sometimes — therapeutic supports may be funded under Capacity Building — Improved Daily Living where they relate to your disability. Bring your plan and we will look at it together.

Do you counsel children?

Yes. Our social worker is experienced with children and uses developmentally appropriate, play-informed approaches.

Is what I say confidential?

Yes, with the standard legal limits: we must act if there is a risk of serious harm to you or someone else, or where child safety is involved. We explain this clearly at the first session.

Do I need a referral?

No. You can contact us directly to arrange an initial conversation.
