Our Services

Aged Care & Home Support Melbourne

In-home support for older adults who want to stay in their own home - practical help, wellbeing checks, companionship and community connection, with or without a package.

Aged Care And Older Adult Support

Most older people we meet want the same thing: to stay in their own home, on their own terms, for as long as possible. Our aged care support is built around that — practical enough to keep the household running, warm enough that the visit is something to look forward to.

We support people receiving a Home Care Package, people on the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, and people paying privately who simply want a hand.

What’s Included

  • Domestic assistance — cleaning, laundry, linen and general upkeep
  • Personal care delivered respectfully and without rush
  • Meal preparation, shopping and help with nutrition
  • Transport to appointments, shops and social outings
  • Companionship and regular wellbeing check-ins
  • Support to stay connected with community, family and faith groups
  • Respite so family carers can take a genuine break

Who This Is For

Older adults living independently who need some support to keep doing so — and the families who worry about them. We also work with people transitioning home after a hospital admission, where the first few weeks matter most.

The Commonwealth’s Support at Home program replaces several older aged care programs. We have written a plain-English explainer of what it means for you.

Our Approach

Consistency over convenience

The same worker wherever possible. Older clients should not have to re-explain themselves every fortnight.

Notice the small changes

Our workers are trained to flag the early signs — a missed meal, a new bruise, a change in mood — and to tell family promptly.

Independence first

We support, we do not take over. If you can still do it, we will help you keep doing it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a Home Care Package to use your service?

No. We support package holders, CHSP clients and private-pay clients. If you are waiting for a package to be assigned, private support can bridge the gap.

Can you help me apply for aged care support?

We can point you to My Aged Care and explain the assessment process, and we can support you through it. We cannot complete the assessment on your behalf — that is done by an assessor.

Do you provide respite for family carers?

Yes. Planned regular respite works best, but we will always try to help with short-notice situations.

Do you support people with dementia?

Yes, in a home support capacity. Our workers are experienced with cognitive decline. For clinical dementia care we will refer you to a specialist service.

Most people we work with combine two or three of these. Mix and match whatever fits your plan.
